Tuesday 5:30-7:00pm volunteers wanted

Here's an opportunity for those of you who have wanted to reach out to the homeless, the disabled and lonely folks on State Street in Madison but haven't known where to start. Just give us a call. We welcome Christian volunteers of all denominations, protestant or catholic. We bring food to share and hang out and talk with those who come to the Peace Park Circle gathering on Tuesdays at 5:30pm. If you're more of an introvert, just come and share food and pray in the background while others reach out.

Just drop in and check us out if you like.

Welcome - Join the fight against poverty & oppression

Welcome to our new blog to keep you up to date on opportunities to help the homeless in Madison, WI and India and other places as the Lord leads us.

We invite you to join us in helping make life less stressful for those on the street by showing Jesus love in practical ways. We join with Lynn Beyler and other friends to feed the homeless, the lonely and anyone else who wants to join in at Peace Park on State Street (across from the hat shop) in Madison, WI. It's pot luck style. We eat and fellowship with those who come. The listening and the friendship and the prayers are just as important as the food. Those who face rejection everywhere else can come and be loved and accepted.

You can join in by just emailing Roger, our operations manager, at rogerjorg@hotmail.com or call 608-320-0469.

May His kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven!
